MeltMethod

The MELT Method® (MELT®) is a simple self-treatment designed to help you stay healthy, youthful, and active for a lifetime. It can reduce the effects of accumulated tension and stress caused by daily living. This full-body method of self-care simplifies neurofascial science into an adaptable model and can be customized to particular needs – from improving performance and decreasing the risk of repetitive stress injuries to eliminating chronic pain.

M.E.L.T. is an acronym for Myofascial Energetic Length Technique; its techniques and protocols were built upon key aspects of Neuromuscular Therapy (Chaitow), CranioSacral (Upledger), Manual Muscle Testing (Kendall and McCreary), Lymphatic Drainage (Chikly), Visceral Manipulation (Barral), Anatomy Trains (Myers), Structural Integration (Rolf), the World Fascia Congress (Vleeming, Pollack, Hedley, Stecco et al.), and others.  It can be practiced by everyone from extreme athletes to the physically impaired - and the benefits are profound.

Usui Reiki    Ryoho

USUI REIKI RYOHO translates as Usui Spiritual Energy Healing Method. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is an ancient Japanese Healing Art tradition that traces back to 3,000 B.C.Tibet. Reiki uses the hands to pass universal life energy in order to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself and others. The word healing is used in the sense of regaining harmony and wholeness, as well as balancing energy in the body so that it may heal itself. Usui Shiki Ryoho addresses the whole person on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels and those that we cannot identify at the present. Reiki can be defined as the art of activating, applying, and balancing the universal life force energy that dwells within every living being. Reiki benefits include:
Having a calming effect on the body
Connecting a person to the source of spiritual energy
Clearing energy blockages and increases overall energy
Restoring balance to the body
Supporting physical, emotional, mental, physical healing
Supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself
Complementing all other therapies
Bringing joy, inner peace and balance
Speeding up the body's healing processes

Many people schedule Reiki sessions with a practitioner on a regular basis as part of their ongoing health program, enjoying its many benefits. The importance and deeper meaning of the elements and aspects and the whole system is mainly beyond words and gradually unfolds through personal experience. To schedule REIKI in our dedicated Wellness Room, please contact the studio at 386.233.4885
